Unidad Central de Certificación de Origen S.A (UCCO)
The National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile (CNC in Spanish) and the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) established the closed joint-stock company "Unidad Central de Certificación de Origen S.A. (UCCO)" in order to carry out the tasks of Certification, Pre-Certification and Verification of Origin.
UCCO operates with a total of 18 offices located in different regions of Chile, and its main function is the verification of origin of exported goods; to this end, it has professionals with the necessary experience and knowledge of the auditing processes and checks that allow to conclude on the origin of the goods that make up the agro-industrial and fishing sectors.
Sociedad de Fomento Fabril F.G (SOFOFA) (Manufacturers' Development Society (SOFOFA))
Sociedad de Fomento Fabril F.G. (SOFOFA) is a trade federation, founded in 1883, which brings together 22 business associations from all regions of the country and more than 160 member companies, including, for example, more than half of the companies that make up Chile's most important stock market index. It also brings together 47 trade associations, representing the main sectors of the Chilean economy such as mining suppliers, forestry, pulp and paper, Agro-industry, salmon farming, fishing, infrastructure and logistics, energy, wine, retail, information technology, telephony, food and beverages, bread, venture capital industry, among many others. All member associations represent more than 4,000 companies of different sizes and sectors.
Customs Chamber of Chile
The Customs Chamber of Chile is an organization that represents and defends the interests of foreign trade specialists: Customs brokers.
- It collaborates in the continuous improvement of customs activities through the approach and joint work.
- It promotes the permanent modernization of customs activity and the implementation of standards for the greater economic efficiency of companies that carry out foreign trade operations.
Supports and promotes initiatives that improve the country's competitiveness through its Customs Administrations.
- Disseminates criteria for the ethical behavior of customs brokers in the exercise of their activities and in the compliance with honest standards of conduct of their associates with their peers, workers, importers, exporters, authorities and the community in general.
- It trains customs brokers and the staff of their companies to increase the professionalism of the trade associations.
The Customs Chamber is the founder and an active member of the Association of Professional Customs Brokers of the Americas (ASAPRA) whose General Secretariat is located in Bolivia.
Logistics Association of Chile (ALOG Chile A.G.)
A trade association that brings together and represents the different actors of the logistics industry in Chile, including: logistics operators, freight forwarders, Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC), off-port warehouses, ports and suppliers for the sector.
Currently, ALOG Chile A. G. has 90 partner companies, segmented into three categories: Active Partners, Collaborating Partners and Independent Professional Partners, accounting for approximately 80% of the national market.
In its spirit of multi-agency work, ALOG Chile A.G. participates in the International Committee of the Cámara Nacional de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo de Chile (CNC) (National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile) as an active member and in the different Working Committees promoted by the Fundación Conecta Logística, as a founding member.
Internationally, it is a member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and has a joint working agreement with the Colombian Federation of Logistics Agents in International Trade (FITAC)
