The National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile (CNC in Spanish) and the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) established the closed joint-stock company "Unidad Central de Certificación de Origen S.A. (UCCO)" in order to carry out the tasks of Certification, Pre-Certification and Verification of Origin.

UCCO operates with a total of 18 offices located in different regions of Chile, and its main function is the verification of origin of exported goods; to this end, it has professionals with the necessary experience and knowledge of the auditing processes and checks that allow to conclude on the origin of the goods that make up the agro-industrial and fishing sectors.

Sociedad de Fomento Fabril F.G. (SOFOFA) is a trade federation, founded in 1883, which brings together 22 business associations from all regions of the country and more than 160 member companies, including, for example, more than half of the companies that make up Chile's most important stock market index. The Customs Chamber of Chile is an organization that represents and defends the interests of foreign trade specialists: Customs brokers.

- It collaborates in the continuous improvement of customs activities through the approach and joint work.

- It promotes the permanent modernization of customs activity and the implementation of standards for the greater economic efficiency of companies that carry out foreign trade operations.

Supports and promotes initiatives that improve the country's competitiveness through its Customs Administrations.

- Disseminates criteria for the ethical behavior of customs brokers in the exercise of their activities and in the compliance with honest standards of conduct of their associates with their peers, workers, importers, exporters, authorities and the community in general.

The Customs Chamber is the founder and an active member of the Association of Professional Customs Brokers of the Americas (ASAPRA) whose General Secretariat is located in Bolivia.
