Mr. Roland TIA N’DRI is a WCO accredited expert trainer in rules of origin. In this capacity, he has actively participated in numerous missions providing assistance and delivering training on behalf of prominent organizations, including UEMOA, ECOWAS, WCO, UNCTAD, and various reputable training institutions within Côte d'Ivoire.
Since October 2006, Roland TIA N’DRI has served as a dedicated civil servant within Cote d’Ivoire Customs Administration. He has held the pivotal position of Chief of the Rules of Origin Bureau since February 2017. In this influential role, he played a pivotal part in the negotiation teams for Côte d'Ivoire's free trade agreements with the European Union, the United Kingdom, the African Continental Free Trade Area, and the formulation of new ECOWAS rules of origin. His contributions extend further as he also held the position of Deputy Chief of the Tariff Bureau, making a substantial impact, including his integral role in the launch and implementation of the ECOWAS Common External Tariff in Cote d’Ivoire, in 2015.
His educational achievements include degrees from the National School of Administration, with a specialization in Customs, and the Houphouët Boigny National Polytechnic Institute, where he specialized in Logistics.
