Xiaoxue Xu Shenzhen Customs District, China Customs
Xu Xiaoxue (Mrs.) has a dedicated customs career of 20 years in China. Throughout her career, she has been able to develop expertise on the major customs techniques relating to the rules of origin.
She has been involved in the negotiation and implementation of Rules of Origin under China’s FTAs and presented as Chinese delegate at the meetings of Technical Committee on Rules of Origin (TCRO).
Xu is an accredited Customs expert of World Customs Organization (WCO). She worked as facilitators at the WCO Accreditation Workshop for Expert Trainers on Rules of Origin for WCO Asia/Pacific Region (15-19 January, 2018) and WCO National Workshop on Advance Ruling on Rules of Origin (25-28 April 2016).
Xu is currently the Deputy Director of Duty Collection Division of Shenzhen Customs District, P.R. China, where she is in charge of the administration of rules of origin.
Xu has two post-graduate degrees from Cambridge University, UK (2012-2013) and Nanjing University, China (2006-2009). She is the co-translator of the publication, Rules of Origin in International Trade (Chinese Version, China Customs Press, 2012).
