Mariko Haga Deputy DirectorMinisitry of Finance, JAPAN

Ms. HAGA Mariko is currently a Deputy Director for International Cooperation Division, Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance, Japan. She has almost twenty years career in Japan Government in variety of Customs affairs, in particular, Rules of Origin field. She is also a WCO Accredited Expert of Rules of origin. Prior to the current position, she worked as a Deputy Director for Office of EPA Affairs responsible for trade negotiations on Customs Procedures Chapter as well as policymaking and supervision of EPA-related works of Japan Customs in the Ministry of Finance. As a WCO Accredited Expert, she has participated in seminars and workshops conducted by the WCO and has contributed to capacity building activities related to Rules of Origin.
